TR19 Kitchen Extraction Cleaning Prices

We do not publish fixed prices because every extraction system is different. What we do publish is exactly what is included in every clean — and a commitment to transparent, itemised pricing after a free site survey.

Our Pricing Approach

Why We Don't Publish Fixed Prices

TR19 cleaning is not a commodity service. The time and resource required to clean a small café extraction system is fundamentally different from what is required for a hospital kitchen or a dark kitchen operating 20 hours a day. A fixed price would either overcharge small kitchens or undercharge large ones — and neither outcome is fair.

What we commit to is transparent, itemised pricing after a free site survey. You will know exactly what you are paying for — canopy cleaning, ductwork length, fan service, filter exchange, compliance documentation — and why. There are no hidden costs and no surprises.

Our CII-qualified founder also reviews your insurance policy during the site survey, ensuring the cleaning programme we recommend satisfies your insurer's exact requirements. This means you are not just buying a clean — you are buying compliance that will be accepted by your insurer at renewal and in the event of a claim.

Pricing Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Pricing

Why don't you publish fixed prices?

TR19 cleaning prices depend on the size and complexity of your extraction system, your location, and the required cleaning frequency. A small café with a single canopy and 3 metres of ductwork requires significantly less time and resource than a hospital kitchen with multiple canopies and 30 metres of ductwork. We provide a detailed, itemised quote after a free site survey — so you know exactly what you are paying for and why.

How much does a typical TR19 clean cost?

For a small to medium commercial kitchen in our service area, a TR19 clean typically costs between £250 and £600. For larger or more complex systems, the cost can range from £600 to £1,500 or more. We provide a detailed quote after a free site survey. There are no hidden costs — the price we quote is the price you pay.

Is the TR19 compliance certificate included in the price?

Yes. The TR19 compliance certificate, photographic evidence report, and grease deposit thickness measurements are included in the price of every clean. There is no additional charge for documentation.

Do you charge extra for out-of-hours cleaning?

We do not apply a standard out-of-hours surcharge. If your kitchen requires cleaning outside of normal business hours — for example, early morning or late evening — we will factor this into the quote. We aim to be transparent about all costs before you commit to the work.

What is included in the free site survey?

The free site survey includes a full assessment of your extraction system (canopy, ductwork, fans, and filters), a review of your insurance policy requirements, a recommended cleaning frequency based on BESA TR19 guidelines, and a detailed itemised quote. There is no obligation to proceed with the work after the survey.

The Cost of Not Cleaning

A TR19 clean for a medium kitchen costs a fraction of what a kitchen fire can cost. UK fire statistics show that the average commercial kitchen fire results in losses exceeding £500,000 — including building damage, contents, business interruption, and third-party liability. If your extraction system was non-compliant at the time of the fire, your insurer may decline the claim entirely.
